Hey y'all!
Everything is good here! Not a whole lot is happening. We're working on finding new people and building up the people we already are teaching. Hard work and faith really does bring miracles. Another couple walked into church out of the blue and stayed for Sacrament meeting. We ran after them so we could get to know them a little better. They promised to come back next week, so hopefully we can get their information and start teaching!
Its been hard to let some people go, but I know the Lord is blessing this area. It also helps that we weren't sick this week! Yay! This transfer is already looking up.
We have a new elder in our district. He's from another mission, which is super cool! He served in Colombia and now he's here in Arcadia! It's fun to hear about missionary life in another country.
This week, I've definitely been cultured food wise. Sister Jones gave us this Mexican snack with who knows what in it. The package is in Spanish and the English translation doesn't make a lot of sense. Her son, Brother Jones, said he needs to make me Carne Asada soon. I'm down!
I think another highlight is the ward's Girl's Camp fundraiser. It was an Italian dinner with a dessert and silent auction. We were fed and got a cake from the stake president! It was funny because everyone knows missionaries are broke and can't be bidding on no expensive cake! :P
I have a testimony of the divinity of the Book of Mormon. It truly is another testament of Jesus Christ and all men can draw closer to Him from reading it. Our Savior and Redeemer lives. He loves us. He's always there for us.
Love y'all!
