Hey y'all!
Thank you so much for the prayers! My ankle is getting better. It's a good joke in the ward.
My new nickname is Skippy. I'm not sure why, but I think it's funny :) The wheelchair helps so
much! I even got a boot today so I can start walking more.
The weather is so amazing here! 90 degrees already! Y'all know how I feel about the cold
weather. And an advantage about this heat is that it's dry, so it's not as bad as 90 degrees
in the good ole NC.
Everything is pretty awesome there! I think the sweetest part of this week was this inactive
member saying that Sister Cluff and I made her whole year by stopping by! She's such a
sweet lady. She even gave us some food and a knee wrap (ankle injuries cause knee injuries..
Especially when you're Sister Sorensen).
Please keep the people of Monrovia in your prayers! People are being prepared and the
members here are so amazing!
I may not know everything, but I do know that this gospel is true. I know that Jesus Christ is
the center of this church and His gospel has been restored by the prophet Joseph Smith.
I know that Thomas S. Monson is the current prophet who guides this church. I know that
the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and goes hand in hand with the
Bible. I know God is our loving Heavenly Father who wants us to return to Him. I know
families can be sealed forever in the temple.
Love y'all so much!
Sister Sorensen
1. You can see the moon and the cloud looks like an angel! Janie
(a lady we do service with/for) pointed it out.
2. Stephanie (a little girl we're teaching) and I! All the kids love pushing me around.
I try to have fun with it :)
