Meet the new Sister

Hey y'all!
Its been an interesting week for sure. We got a car! It was so strange because we got a call from the APs (Assistants to the President) but they didn't leave a voice mail. We thought for sure one of us was going to be emergency transferred. We called after proselyting hours and so casually they said we were picking up our car tomorrow morning! So Friday we upgraded from the wheelchair to a Toyota Corolla! They said they don't want me to sit in the heat, but really they don't want Sister Cluff to die while pushing me!

It has really heated up here in Monrovia! Like, high 90s. I got a real good tan after just one day in the sun. That's a huge plus.

Alicia is still progressing! We are so excited for her to be baptized soon!

Sheila is progressing too, so that's really awesome to see.

Micheal got the priesthood and was ordained to the office of a priest yesterday! That made us extremely happy. Even that doesn't describe it. His kids are so sweet and awesome! We hung out with them today and it was so fun!

Hope everyone had a great St. Patrick's Day and ate plenty of Irish food! For 2 meals we had corn beef, cabbage, and potatoes. It was so good.

With General conference coming up, I can't help but feel joy for the knowledge of a prophet here on the earth. Our leaders have truly been called from God and they hold the authority to act in God's name. I'm thankful to know that I'm a beloved daughter of a loving Heavenly Father. I'm thankful for the plan of salvation and the Atonement. This gospel brings so much peace and joy.

I love y'all and don't forget who you are and who loves you
Sister Sorensen
