Hey y'all! 

This week has been amazing! Sister Briscoe and I are best friends already! And apparently, so are our moms ;) They share the same mutual friends.

We got a new investigator, Melody! She is so receptive to the gospel and she has been wanting to look into our faith for a long time now! We are so excited for her! 

We are trying to clean out this thing we call Area Book. It's a record of everyone who has ever looked into the church in our area. It's really helping us a lot. 

So, I went to the doctor on Thursday because something looked weird. My ankle is healing pretty well I guess, but I got a cyst on my left foot and I banged my right knee so hard that I bruised the bone! But all is well. I just laugh :) I must be very talented. 

The priesthood power is so real! I had a migraine yesterday and I couldn't go out. I expressed to my comp that I felt like I wasn't being a good enough missionary. That night when I got a blessing, the elder said that Heavenly Father loves me and the last thing He'd want me to feel is that I'm not a good missionary. There is NO way the elder would've known that I felt that way. I know that the power of God is on Earth today. It brings us so many blessings! 

I love y'all so much! Remember the Savior in all you do. He is always there for us!

Baptism and Transfers

Hey y'all!

It's been a great week!

ALICIA GOT BAPTIZED! Yay! It was so great to see all the support she got from her family! I can't wait to see 

where the gospel takes her and her family! 

Easter was amazing! So many people from the ward had us come over. The Cornwalls, Zepada's, and Micheal. 

Sister Cluff got transfered to Arcadia, so she had to say goodbyes. I got a new companion, Sister Briscoe! 

She's great and I can't wait to work with her! At least Sister Cluff isn't going too far! 

We've been working more with Maggie. She's definitely going in a good direction :) John Napotnik is going to 

meet with us tomorrow and I seriously can't wait. I love his family! :) Jim is still a cute old man. 

I know that this week was truly holy. The Savior really did suffer for our sins and felt every pain and affliction of 

everyone on Earth. He lived, died, and lived again. Because of Him, we can be resurrected and live with our families 

forever. I can't imagine not being with my family forever <3 Remember the Savior and His sacrifice ALWAYS, 

not just on Easter. 

Thanks y'all for the constant prayers and support! Thanks for the packages and letters :) This week I really felt loved :)

I forgot! Here's some pictures of a tree in the middle of the road. In California, it's illegal to cut down pretty

me Monday night. It was also put up on Facebook on the Mom's and Dad's page. The mom of Sister Briscoe was 

tagged in the picture along with me. Being nosy, I wanted to see where she was from. Lo, and behold, we have

mutual friends!!!!!! It's a small, small world when you are LDS.

Cafés and Volleyball

Hey y'all!

I don't have much to say, considering that I just emailed on Friday. 

Not much has happened. Still healing. Still loving the mission.

We did try a Croatian café and it was pretty awesome. Never been to a place like that. It's almost like a sit 

down Ameles for my Charlotte friends.

We played volleyball as a zone and it was pretty fun. Not as awesome as the Hilliard YSA!

This week, we get to celebrate Easter. I know that Christ atoned for our sins and He was resurrected. 

I love my Savior. Check out #PRINCEofPEACE on mormon.org. We can all use peace in this crazy world today.

Mom here now. This is just a portion of what she wrote me that I wanted to share.

"Transfers are next Monday! We'll find our where we're going or if we're staying on Saturday night. Most of the 

time we move around, but missionaries tend to stay in Monrovia for a while. I'm cool with that!"

When asked what she wanted in a package, this was her response. "Honestly, just getting a package and 

feeling loved is good for me!" So, if you wouldn't mind, send a post card, package, letter or photo. 

I never really realized how much that helped missionaries. So, now I'm on a mission!!!

While having Mackenzie gone is hard (really hard) I take comfort in knowing she is serving, sharing, growing and 

spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

I love my Savior too! I know He lives!

Hey y'all! 

It's been a great week or so! Sorry to get back to y'all so late, but my P-days will be back to normal on Monday.

General Conference was amazing! I loved all the talks! We watched most of the sessions at the stake center with 

all the other missionaries. Elder Carlson in my district had a birthday during general conference, so the elders had 

Sister Cluff and I make the cake. We're the only sisters in our district and the district leader isn't a dummy! 

We also watched a session with Pam and Steph. We played a little bingo game to keep them focused. They're gone 

for Spring Break, so we haven't been able to meet with them. Honestly, we haven't met with a lot of people 

because of break. Hopefully this upcoming week will be a lot better! 

The temple was so amazing! I'm going to have to send pictures in another email. It was great being able to go

with the whole zone. I love the area I'm in! 

I think the cutest thing I've seen this week are these little kittens! They were strays but man they were so cute! 

Someone who lived nearby was making calls to find them homes.

Temple
