Hey y'all!
Let me tell you, this transfer has been one heck of a ride! Sister Briscoe sprained her right ankle last week! So now we're gippy and skippy. At least we have a set of working legs together!
I got my MRI results and there's no fracture or tear. Just a lot of fluid built up. I might have to go get some shots for the pain, but it looks like I'll be in the brace another 60 days. Hey, at least I can walk!
We got a new investigator, Taio! Last transfer, he randomly walked into church and said he looked us up online. He'll come and stay for the first hour, but we finally got him to stay all 3 hours! We haven't had an official lesson with him, but we taught the first lesson in Gospel Principles.
We had a zone activity today! Zone Olympics! We participated as much as possible. I did win an activity where we had to eat a doughnut off a string blindfolded!
I know the Lord is in all things. Sometimes stuff happens that we don't understand, but He has a purpose.
Have a great week! Love and miss y'all!

I KNOW I'm biased, but aren't these two just beautiful?!?!?!? :)
This last picture was on the California Arcadia Mission Facebook page. It was Hermana Buer's birthday. "Thanks to all the missionaries that surprised my daughter, Hermana Kirsten Buer with silly string, balloons, a happy birthday sign and cake at the end of their zone activity today. She loved it! FYI, she is serving in El Monte."
